Getting There

Chalet du Guide is located in Méribel Village in the heart of the 3 valleys. There are many options for getting to the resort including several airports, high speed train services and the increasingly popular option of driving.

Flying

The main airports that service the 3 Valleys are Lyon and Geneva.  There is a 2 hour drive from each of these airports to Méribel Village which we can arrange for you. The "no frills airlines" (Easyjet and Ryan Air) provide very good value deals to most of the airports in the region.

Train

Eurostar runs Friday and Saturday services from London to Moutiers, just 20 minutes drive from the chalet. Check their web site for details.  Also the overnight snow train is also an option Ski France is the place for details and tickets.

Driving

Driving is becoming a popular option for getting to the French Alps.  The trip takes approximately 12 hours door to door from London. The tolls in France cost about £40 each way and the fuel cost is approximately £70 each way for a family saloon.  Ferry or Eurotunnel costs depend on availability but booking in advance can reduce the costs significantly.
